Our vision for the years 2023–2028 (1402–1407 in the Iranian calendar) is to establish the Reproductive Health and Population Research Center as one of the top five research centers in Macroregion 9 and to develop the necessary infrastructure for its transformation into a research institute.
The Reproductive Health and Population Research Center, affiliated with the Deputy for Research and Technology at Gonabad University of Medical Sciences, was founded in 2023 (1402) in Razavi Khorasan Province. Its establishment was guided by a community-based research approach, emphasizing public participation in identifying reproductive health challenges and contributing to their resolution in collaboration with other sectors.
The mission of the center is to conduct regional needs assessments, value innovative ideas and collaborative efforts, and support researchers through intra- and inter-organizational partnerships. By generating scientific knowledge, advancing technology, and empowering communities at both national and international levels, the center seeks to enhance reproductive health and population well-being.
